Chemicals & Equipment

We have newly launched the RO membrane (Reverse Osmosis Membrane),
a core material for water treatment, and provide total solutions to the global water treatment market.

With salt rejection of up to 99.9%, it produces high-quality RO permeate,
and its special surface treatment reduces foulant adsorption for greater durability,
playing a key role across the entire water treatment process from pre-treatment to pure and ultrapure water production.

RO Application

Applicable to water treatment facilities for producing industrial water and drinking water in industrial plants across power generation, semiconductors, food, and more.

Advantages

  • An economically efficient water treatment material with a wide range of applications.

RO(Reverse Osmosis) is being applied in various industrial fields as it can effectively treat high-concentration feed water. In addition, its facility configuration and operation methods are simple, and it is easy to automate, allowing for a cost-effective design.

  • Strict quality control system

As the only ion exchange resin manufacturer in the country, we have established a strict quality control system based on years of accumulated expertise in quality management, and we provide our customers with the best products and services.

FAQ

  • Q. What is reverse osmosis pressure, and how does reverse osmosis work?

Reverse osmosis is the phenomenon in which pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is applied to the high-concentration side, moving water through a
    semi-permeable membrane to the low-concentration side;
the pressure applied is called reverse osmosis pressure. When two solutions of different concentrations are separated by a semi-permeable membrane that only solvent (water) molecules can pass through, water moves from the low-concentration solution to the high-concentration solution, creating a difference in water level — the osmotic pressure. If pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is then applied to the high-concentration side, the direction of water flow reverses and water from the high-concentration side permeates to the low-concentration side. This is called reverse osmosis, and the pressure applied is the reverse osmosis pressure.

    • Osmosis : Water from the low-concentration solution moves through the
semi-permeable membrane to the high-concentration solution
    • Reverse osmosis : When pressure above the osmotic pressure is applied to the
high-concentration solution, water moves in reverse toward the low-concentration solution
    • Key condition : Pressure greater than the osmotic pressure must be applied
      to the high-concentration side

  • Q. How do brackish water RO and seawater RO differ?

  • Q. Can brackish water RO permeate be used as feed water for ultrapure water?
