Anion Exchange Resin

Key Features

TRILITE® WBA exchange resin uses Tertiary Amine as the functional group,
and it is weak base with no salt splitting capacity, meaning it does not dissociate
or exchange ions in acidic solutions.

An ion exchange is possible within the pH range of 1 to 9, and it is characterized by being easier to regenerate and having a higher exchange capacity when compared to SBA exchange resins. The regeneration efficiency is high,
but it is easy to lose exchanged ions, resulting in high ion leakage in the treated solution. Therefore, it is often used in combination with SBA exchange resin in water treatment applications, or for special purposes such as food refining due to its excellent organic contamination resistance and decolorization ability.
